Radical Transparency at Loop Labs 🧪

Open about Loop Labs and its bots; protective of the people.

08 / Radical

Open company. Private community.

A three-month pilot to publish how Loop Labs is built: the numbers, experiments, decisions, corrections, and lessons. Transparency applies to our business. Privacy applies to the people who trust us.

Operating reference · Ray Dalio, Principles: Life & Work: Dalio popularized radical truth and radical transparency as tools for an idea meritocracy. Loop Labs adopts the useful core: expose reasoning, invite challenge, record mistakes, and correct the system. We reject surveillance, public shaming, and forced disclosure.
The rule above every metric

We publish our decisions and results. We do not publish other people’s lives.

Being open should make Loop Labs more trustworthy and useful, not make members perform in public. The business earns scrutiny. Members keep a genuinely private room.

Numbers

Members, revenue, expenses, refunds, churn, and definitions. Every figure includes its period, scope, and source.

Experiments

Hypothesis, action, evidence, and decision. Failed tests stay visible instead of becoming founder folklore.

Decisions

What changed, why it changed, which evidence mattered, and what would cause another revision.

Shipping log

A concise weekly record of what moved from intention to a working artifact.

Boundaries

A public promise describing what is never published, even when disclosure would make a better story.

The publishing and measurement loop

Weekly shipping entryOne compact update: shipped, learned, blocked, next.
Monthly open bookA deeper report covering numbers, experiments, decisions, and uncomfortable lessons.
Visible correction historyChanged claims keep their date, previous meaning, correction, and reason.
Membership pathEvery useful report offers a calm next step into the Loop Labs membership.
Analytics with a purposeTrack applications, assisted conversions, partner conversations, and qualitative trust signals. Do not optimize for empty traffic.
Hard privacy line

Radically transparent about us. Radically private about members.

No private member conversation becomes content without specific, revocable permission. Aggregation is not a loophole when context can identify someone.

The transparency must help someone make a better decision. If this record helps an experienced engineer judge the room, inspect the membership itself.
